Moving my website to WordPress

Having set-up this blog,  I am really impressed with the ease of use of WordPress. I now want to move my business website to WordPress.

Currently my website is not CMS. It is so annoying since every little change has to be done by my designer. As a result I just do not bother with many changes.

My key reasons for moving my website to WordPress include:

1 Ease of use

2 SEO friendly

3 Less dependence on my web designer

I did some reading on having a WordPress website. One of the key downsides, as I understand it, is that there are limitations on changes you make on the theme (template) you have chosen.

For me the downsides more than outweighs the positives.

I have just emailed my web designer to ask him if he can move my website to WordPress, if so, what the costs would be. If not, I will look for someone else. I just do not have the skills or the time to do it myself.
